We Are a Non-Profit Organization

Center for Human Rights is a non-governmental organization, established in Tetovo, North Macedonia in September 2020. The organization is led by a group of enthusiastic human rights activists with extended experience in the civil sector, who through C4HR want to achieve the positive change that is lacking in the community.

We work towards promoting human rights and educating citizens as the main pillar towards achieving a more prosperous society. Our members work daily with different institutions, we investigate and report on violations as a way to protect and defend the fundamental rights of each citizen.

Our staff is 24 hours at the disposal of people who seek legal advice, offering our help free of charge.

We Believe in Partnerships!

We work closely with government institutions, citizens, and businesses, pushing them to change or enforce their laws, policies, and practices and helping them to reform, so the citizens get the best services possible and human rights to prevail.

We were built in the spirit of goodwill and partnership, therefore we always partner with large and small organizations with the aim to make our impact and contribution stronger.

We are the Center for Human Rights, and we stand for making human rights a reality!

citizens (young and adult) about human rights and equip them with mechanisms that will enable them to
protect their rights.

We monitor local and national institutions and their work in order to timely identify and
prevent human rights violations. Our researchers and analysts draft documents and recommendations to
help state institutions cope with current problems.

Defend: We react to injustice and human rights abuses. Our staff has zero-tolerance towards violations
of human rights. At every time we are shoulder-to-shoulder with citizens defending our rights.

Advice: The legal team of the organization works on providing citizens with legal aid and consultations
free of charge. We offer our help to all citizens who seek it without any difference.
